Cozy's in Sherman Oaks hosts Yesterday's Child tonight at 8:30 while they go on a 'psychedelic blues trip' with their tribute to Cream. The band, Cream, came together in 1966 when 3 of Britain's hottest musicians got together-Eric Clapton, Jack Bruce & Ginger Baker. Check out the Yesterday's Child show for a taste of yesteryear and you won't be disappointed. If psychedelic blues aren't your thing, check out musicshaft.com for what is!

a Beach, a Bar and a Band- what a perfect combination
Have you ever been to Flip Flops Restaurant in Oxnard? It's located at 2800 S Harbor Blvd, right below the Lookout Bar & Grill. I had the pleasure of visiting this local favorite yesterday and meeting the friendly staff and gracious owner. If you haven't been there yet, you're missing out! The restaurant has the beach-y-est decor around with murals painted from floor to ceiling. The dress is casual and with the gentle breeze blowing in from the harbor, you'll want to enjoy a drink, some food and may never want to leave. They've also got live music...of course!
And if a beach scene isn't what your looking for, check out musicshaft.com and find what you need in local live music!

Confessions from the musicshaft.com blogger...
Okay, okay, I admit it. It's been 7 days since my last blog entry.... I don't really have an excuse...I guess I just run out of new things to say...so just in case you needed to get the basics down, here goes...musicshaft.com is a zip-code driven search engine to find local live music. Currently we serve Ventura & Los Angeles Counties. It's free to post your live music events if you are a band or venue. There is an easy to use link from our homepage. You may also add your website link to the calendar for $10 per month, so anytime your name (band or venue) is listed on the calendar there will be a link to your site. It's that easy to get more exposure!

Eric Forkrud- here's a shout-out from musicshaft.com
I get caught up in the day-to-day activities of running a business and often take the technology for granted. I think we all tend to do that, until there is a problem- then we call our IT person in a panic!
One thing is for certain- musicshaft.com would not exist if it weren't for the patience and knowledge of our web guru, Eric Forkrud of Pacific Coast Expert Networking.
I genuinely appreciate his talent and attention to detail- words can't express my appreciation.
This Blog's for you, Eric!
